Creativity has always been part of who I am. I would spend hours at the family computer using Microsoft Paint to edit photos because I didn’t have Photoshop. Any school project that required a posterboard, slideshow, or scrapbook? My A+ was in the bag. Designing my MySpace profile with HTML and those Microsoft Paint edited photos was a weekly event.
Unsurprisingly, I was drawn to graphic design, which led me to pursue a degree in Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design and a minor in Communication. During my senior year of college, I landed a dream internship that turned into a full-time role, designing for P. Graham Dunn, a home decor and inspirational gift company.
With over ten years of experience in the home decor and gift industry, I’ve learned to blend my creativity with strategy, crafting heartfelt designs that connect with people. Seeing my work on the shelves at HomeGoods, Cracker Barrel, or Hobby Lobby, and knowing it might become part of someone’s home or a thoughtful gift, makes the time I spend developing and creating truly worthwhile. Every project has been a crash course in problem-solving, trend-spotting, and juggling deadlines, all skills I carry into every new challenge.
Now I’m ready to bring my passion for creativity to a variety of design mediums. Whether crafting visuals that command attention, designing layouts that tell a story, or brainstorming fresh ideas, I’m all about creating designs that not only look good but also resonate on a deeper level. Heart meets strategy always.
